Thank you to British editor, Eleanor Bowskill, for including my poem in her latest edition. My poem is about my platonic, wonderful relationship with poet, Grace Gavalieri.

Thank you to publisher Melani Barr for
including my unbelievable, but actually true
story, The Unfathomable Vietnamese Nun,
in her latest issue of Intangience Magazine.

Here is an excerpt from the story.
Upon first sight, I was struck by her shriveled, small stature which stood in stark contrast to the strength of her aura, and the piercing intensity of her eyes. The nun’s wizened face gazed from her shrouded, sacred black habit. She tenderly held my trembling hand, cradling it like a cherished piece of china. She carefully scrutinized the crossing lines on my palm as though they illuminated a road map to my sorrowful soul. She began in her mother tongue, French, pausing every so often for her son-in-law’s interpretation to catch up. She knew things no one else knew, offering mundane details, and stark revelations, but it was her description of that night which shattered my disbelief.
She whispered that my heart had suffered a devastating split leaving me no longer whole. She described unforgettable details about that monstrous moment, details I had never shared; the chest pain, the hours of crying. The truth of her words struck a forceful blow to my being. I felt the touch of an intangible power. How could she have so clearly perceived the eerie eve I became shattered by death?
The nun’s uncanny insights caused a shift in my disillusionment, allowing slivers of light on my wound. Did she find my surrender in the stars? Or was my agony swirling over vast seas? Or did this frail foreign woman of faith, who knew nothing about my life, see into the cosmos and beyond to the divine? Her insights made me feel less alone. I was enveloped in an intangible universe much greater than my earthly existence.
THANKS to , Mary and Marisela, for publishing my true

"Two middle aged friendly ladies met me, and asked that I take a seat. Presently, they came back followed by a streak of red fur. A wild Irish Setter puppy jumped up on my lap. She looked right into my eyes and smiled, a loving welcome."https://t.co/1zBK9SSH6W
